EVERYTHING TO DO THIS FALL IN NEW YORK

If you don't like being too hot or too cold, you're like us. So, you already know that fall is pretty much the only time the weather in New York is enjoyable. Here are the best ways you can make the most of it while it lasts...

Take the Crew to the Great Jack O'Lantern Blaze

Get tickets early as the events in the Hudson Valley sell out quickly. Running September 28 - November 24, over 7,000 Jack O'Lanterns line the streets at Van Cortlandt Manor and it is really something to see. If you're up for a scare, you can also purchase tickets to the Horseman's Hollow at Philipsburg Manor. Tickets here.

Fall Foliage at Bear Mountain Oktoberfest Cruise

Eat as much Bratwurst as you want during this 2.5-hour cruise up the Hudson. Live music, German food and beer specials make this a weekend plan you won't want to skip. Tickets here.

Pick Apples the Adult Way...at Angry Orchard

The only way us wrecks would pick apples was if it involved booze. Angry Orchard offers tours and special events like the "Cider Jam" all season long. Events listed here.

Are you afraid of the dark? Test your limited at Brighton Asylum

Everyone has that friend who is obsessed with haunted houses. The real Brighton Asylum shut down in 1952 due to staff disappearances; so this experience located in Passaic, New Jersey, isn't for the faint of heart.

Drink some Brews at Jersey City Beer Fest Just a 4-minute PATH train from Downtown Manhattan, venture to Jersey City and see city views from a different perspective. Taking place on November 17th, get in the spirit of Oktoberfest with craft beer samples, live entertainment, food and games. Tickets here.

Harass the Ghouls at Fright Fest

Grab a friend with a car and head down to south NJ for Great Adventure's Fright Fest. Running through October 31, run from the zombies that take over the park and ride your favorite coasters at the same time!

Party like You're in Ibiza at Circoloco Halloween

Dress up and dance with The Martinez Brothers and Peggy Gou at this legendary party that hails from Ibiza. You won't want to miss this party on October 27 in a Brooklyn warehouse. Tickets here.

Tailgate at a Fordham Football Game

Miss college? Us too. Throw it back and round up the crew for a good old fashion tailgate with plenty of cheap beer and burgers. Schedule here.
